Every day we get many emails from our readers asking,”how much
internet speed will I get,if I use my 2G internet pack by selecting 3G
mode in phone?” In order to have a small clarification regarding this,
we decided to publish this post . Today we share BSNL 2G GPRS speed in
3G mode. We have recharged our SIM with
Rs.89, 3GB pack and used our 2G SIM in a
BSNL Visiontek Modem in
3G mode. The obtained speed test results are shared here. Please note
that in most of the cases, if you are using a BSNL 3G SIM,you will not
be able to recharge 2G pack in your SIM. So you will require a 2G SIM
for that . If you convert your 3G SIM to 2G,then you will be able to
activate the GPRS pack but your SIM will not be able to register to the
3G network mode. So if you want to use 2G pack in 3G mode, in most of
the cases you will have to have a BSNL 2G SIM. We got good speed and the
connection had less issues. This speed is enough for even video
chatting in skype, Almost we will get the maximum EDGE speed. BSNL 3G
